Vincent Ho Cheng Juah is the Executive Chairman of Portman Institute of Technology, a private education institution in Singapore. He held the position since March, 2010.
Vincent joined the education industry with more than 30 years of Senior Management experience gained through employment with American Multi-National companies in the Asia Pacific region. He was the Vice President & General Manager for Asia Pacific, of Descartes Systems Inc. and Apropos Technology, Inc. In 1986, Vincent was appointed as Regional Sales Manager (Asia) for Dun and Bradstreet Software, Inc., a subsidiary of Dun and Bradstreet Inc. His responsibility grew rapidly within the company and he became their Managing Director for Asia in 1998. He left Dun and Bradstreet Software, Inc. in 1999 to take up other Senior Management roles within the industry in Asia Pacific. Since then, Vincent has built a strong business network in the Asia Pacific region.
Marda has more than 25 years of experience managing HR in multi-national companies on both local and regional settings. She has vast experience in industrial relations, resourcing, compensation and benefits, organization development, people development, talent management, change management, mergers and acquisitions and project management. She worked in the Philippines as Country HR Manager of Maitland-Smith Ltd for 6 years and then moved to Schlumberger Oilfield Services as Country HR Manager and Lead of HR Projects in Asia, a role she handled for 4.5 years.
Ling Sing Kok has more than 15 year's experiences in sales, marketing & engineering, strategic planning and customer support in electronic manufacturing industry. He is specialized in surface mounting technology (SMT) used in the factory automation to assemble printed-circuit board. His main responsibility is managing the entire business operations from top to bottom, includes overseeing subsidiaries operation in India and Vietnam. He is also responsible for market research and analysis to determine the technological trends and industry's demand for future products development. His major accomplishment were identifying the niche market, planning and implementing market entry strategies to develop new business from untapped regions and unconventional industry. He also initiated several new products development and launching it in the market to capture larger marker size. In order to keep his team competitiveness under B2B environmental, he is actively conducting training and coaching to improve the competency of his team. He graduated from Queen's University of Belfast, UK in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with first-class honours and completed his Master in Business Administration in 2011 from Arcadia University.
Jason Lim Wei Hiong is currently employed at ERICO Ltd as a Regional Sales Manager. His work requires him to travel in Asia including Japan, South Korea, Laos and Cambodia. In 2005, he was seconded to Vietnam for one year to reorganize, recruit and train staff in JJ-Lapp Cable. Prior to this, he worked for Eaton Corporation and SMB United, a public listed company in Singapore. His career spans 17 years with vast experience in the electrical, building and industrial market. He posseses a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a PostGraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
Kang Kian Hong is currently with GeoEye Inc as a Pre-Sales Manager (Asia). His works involved in the information services for satellite imagery for both Defense and commerical market. His technical expertise is in Geographical Information System solution and Global Positioning System. His previous empolyment was at Agis Pte Ltd as Chief Engineer for more than 10 years. He was involved in many GIS development projects with the Singapore Government and many commerical project in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India and China.
Sean Yao Kaiwen is presently the Competency and Business Development Manager in MAYBANK Singapore, Retail Banking
His current portfolio includes training & development, performance management and strategic planning. He is also the trainer for sales techniques and sales advisory process.
Sean begins his career as a marketing communication executive and after one year, chose to join MAYBANK as a relationship manager. He has been there ever since.
